I've been super busy within the last few months. School is starting to wrap up so naturally I am brain dead. Hopefully I'll be move active during the summer.
I took this photo when I went to Big Bend State Park in Spring last year with two of my friends from high school. During this trip, I fell madly in love with the desert. I try to go back every time I can. For many reasons, this is one of why I love Texas. Another thing I recently fell in love with is editing and playing with photos. It's a way of getting out of my comfort zone and trying something cool and funky.

Over the summer, I visited my family in Monterrey, Mexico. We had this crazy BBQ and all the dad's got super drunk and jumped into the pool. It was nice seeing my family smiling and laughing, but most importantly enjoying everyone around us. I took my polaroid with me and took some photos with my grandparents and my sister, if you're wondering who's the random girl. The photo in the middle is my Abuelita Lola (great-grandmother) and the last time I took a photo with her I was probably 10 years old. She's in her mid 90's now but she is still very strong despite her memory loss. I wish I could go back and spend more time with them.
